Yikes dude. Hope you get well soon.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Hi all, Mrs AKS here.  Alex is doing ok. In a fair bit of pain but he's in the best place he can be right now.  He hasn't lost his sense of humour (he was disappointed there were no cameras for 24hrs in A&E) but he is quite uncomfortable. I think he is more gutted about losing his mono-brow
Typical Alex though he expects to be back at work on Monday! In fact, knowing him, if it hadn't been for the overnight stay tonight he'd probably be at work tomorrow!!!
Thank you to everyone who has messaged him, either directly or via the forums/facebook.  As Mike showed you on a previous update, his phone battery was down to 5% when I saw him this evening so I have instructed him to switch it off and keep it off. I'm sure it's killing him not being able to check what's going on on here, but I am taking his phone charger to him tomorrow so he'll be back soon enough.
I will pass on all well-wishes as I know he appreciates them all.  Thank you to you all for your kind words. I will be keeping the FB page updated for those of you who are on it. For those of you who arent, well, you've got Mike so you'll be fine. lol :)

Without doubt....  :signLOL:

So long as he doesn't install himself with meth injection... that might get dangerous!

Update from FB page.

AKS tuning
I'm pleased to say that Alex has been given the all clear to come home but not until later this PM. He's still got a long way to go, but the docs seem convinced he'll be able to keep himself clean long enough to heal!! Thank you again for all your well wishes and offers of support

Back home now.  Phone straight on charge so I can see what's been going on. Going to take a few weeks to fully heal, and I'm peeling up nicely!  I'm not sure about having bald forearms atm.

Should be back to work Monday to sit infront of the computer and sort some stuff out.  Got some more exciting group buys to start.

Thanks for all the support on here and facebook.   :drinking:

Jamie's.  No damage at all to the car, just to me.

I'm surprised no one has said this thread is useless without pics yet!
