Edition 35 re-map
« on: July 13, 2012, 07:45:23 pm »
Thanks to wigit being the guinea pig for REVO.  My wife's golf is booked in for a stage 1 map on Wednesday. And apparently it is good for nearly 300bhp. Perfect for the school run.......

It's funny how infectious Transporters are. One of my mates has 3 Lotuses and an Edition 30. Daily driver is a T5 though!

If I had any money I'd buy an ED35. Goddam lovely vehicle and very rare-health to enjoy sir!

Is it true that it has a noise pipe into the cabin??

Hi mate. It's the same engine so yes.

Reference running in I've always said run in for 200 miles, to bed the brakes in. After that drive normally. But if mapping I would allow 1000 miles, just to check all is ok with the engine.

I thought the ED35 TFSI was identical to the Ed30 TFSI bar a small ECU tweak?

Yes, same(ish) engine as the early K04 based Vag 2.0 TFSi stuff. Still uses the Bosch ME9 engine management system.
