Just read the whole thread , Lovely car , May I ask what the vibrations are like inside the car now you have the upgraded mounts and bushings installed?.

I actually prefer the feel and feedback of the stiffer bushes and engine mounts. It may not be every bodies cup of tea and may be a bit harsh on a long motorway run etc. and you will get more vibrations through the steering wheel but certainly feels more planted through the bends etc.

Only thing i would say is that, coming from 7 years of competing in car audio, you need to lose the power caps. They cause more harm then good.

Thanks for the kind comments and noted on the power caps although I have not experienced any issues yet that I am sure relates to them but I did blow my front mid range speakers shortly after the install that was replaced and advised due to a faulty battery that was later replaced. Is there anything that you would recommend? Installed them as concerned that when cranking the music up the power may make the lights dim etc. but not an expert in that area myself.

Power caps rob all the power from amps when they need to recharge them selves.

A normal car can cope with 1500-2500wrms without much upgrading.

From what i can see, you don't really need any power upgrades at all, if your lights are dimming i would make sure all the amps are set up properly.
No bassboost at all. Gains shouldn't be more then half way in most circumstances, set all gains to the headunit at 90% volume and stick to it, any more can cause the headunit to start distorting its self, therefore the amps amplifying a distorted signal in the first place.

If you find you still have dimming lights you are best off doing whats called 'The Big 3' Basically upgrading the power wires under the bonnet with bigger cable, 0awg preferable, Alternator Positive to battery positive, Engine earth to batter negative and battery negative to chassis.

In my competition car i had, 4 very large batteries capable of 20000amps of current, 250A alternater upgrade and miles of cable. It was doing in excess of 153 decibels though, made the windescreen move ect ect.....

Thanks for the feedback it's very useful. Your competition car sounded something else. I have not experienced any issues with the lights dimming yet but the car had the power caps in it from when the audio was done as that was the reason i was advised to use them. Some good pointers on the gains etc.

The steering wheel needed an updated controller and the climate control is MK5 with some aluminiun rings added. I tried the MK6 climate control but the ones I had seemed to be out a left hand drive car as the dual setting operation was on the passenger site. I tried two in the end and they were both the same so I gave up and stuck with the MK5 one LOL.

Just realised I have the RS4 FPRV and the Vibratechnics 455B but that's getting changed for the 034Motorsport dogbone kit. 4 wheel drive sound interesting Alex.

Cory will be in touch shortly about fitting the master cylinder Mate.
