There isn't any difference. Just the springs are matched and color coded for different weights of
DSG/non-DSG and 2-door/4-door.

I wish they'd have spent the ED30 and Pirelli an uprated suspension with stiffer springs, dampers,
top mounts (like Cupra, RS3) and bushings (like Cupra, S3, RS3), but they have not.

If you really feel a difference you feel different tyres, different tyre pressures, different tyre wear
and suspension wear.

Yep springs the same colour codes all round.  Swapped the wheels over today and drove the Pirelli on both.

As they were off and I was near a scale we popped them on -   Monza IIs with tyre 24 .5 kg    Pirelli Alloy with tyre 22.5 KG  (roughly)   and my W rated PS3s are a better ride the Y rated eagle F1s (with rim protector).

I found the PS3s take the edge of bumps more. Things like bridge joins aren't as harsh.  The rest of the ride is simliar but I think it's that raw jolt that is taking the edge off the ride.

I will probably swap them onto the Pirelli wheels at some point.

The rest as stated is probably due to suspension wear so good case for refreshing the suspension parts on a higher mileage car.   Pirelli has done 33,000 and the standard 50,000

I was surprised how ordinary the car looks without the special edition alloys on so popped them back on sharpish.

I did a colour change on my Pirelli's. Made all the difference on a silver car. I was on the point of buying new wheels, but not now!

Very smart sir! Lovely car, lovely wheels, although I think they're an acquired taste.

Thanks. Took me a while to find the 'P' in the design also!  :signLOL: It's stairing you in the face when you know though.

Photos of the wheels don't do them justice. The dog leg on them looks great from other angles
