Cat Scratches Grrrrrrrrr

Seems next doors cat has taken a liking to sitting on the bonnet of the GTI........... 

To solve the problem we now park it facing down the slope which seems to have stopped it for the time being.

However it has left some scratch marks on the drivers side wing and some more on the bonnet, not deep but enough to make me want to take the cat and 

So what is the best way to remove the scratches? I have no DA etc so am looking at a product and my elbow grease!!

Chilli powder....lots of it dusted everywhere. Its like cryptonite to them

I used Autoglym Super Resin Polish to remove some deep scratches that next doors cat left.

It reduced the scratches to a barely visible line and has not come back 

Takes about 40mins of polishing though

Got this on mine and some are quite bad, luckily going in for the wings to be done  in a couple of weeks (rust good will gesture) so hopefully I'll get new wings or they will be painted and I'm also getting the bonnet blasted whilst it's in along with a few other bits.

As Gray said, Super resin does make them disappear to an extent but it will probably need machine polishing or if very bad spraying.

Certainly not deep so I guess lots of polishing then lol

I already have the super resin stuff so when I get time I will give it a go.

Super resin polish is just a filler, not an abrasive so will not remove the scratches. It will hide them to an extent but this will eventually wash off.

I would borrow a DA or rotary and do the job properly!

Definitely borrow a DA, they will be gone in minutes

Just pick up some proper polishing compound, Farecla G10 is quite fine, you can get it in halfords.  Should take 10 mins or so few a few light scratches. Just do it by hand.
