no motorways in Ireland you're saying??? There are plenty obviously not as much as Germany or UK but plenty for the population I would think
I meant 'the motorways' to mean the extensive, pervasive, wondrous, sinewous engineering feats found in England mainly. As opposed to the 50 mile long M1 in Northern Ireland.

Original guy from Belfast wanted to pay using Paypal and get his "Friend" to collect the car as he couldn't justify the flight over, naturaly i declined the offer which seem to offend him. I am getting interest but nothing leading to a test drive, i don't really want to drop the price any lower than i have as i have spent over £1200 on it already this year.

Good call.

Taking a PayPal payment on a car is asking for trouble.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

I was nearly caught out once and now point blank to accept Paypal if the person is collecting in person. WRT banks drafts I have another gent from Belfast possibly coming over Friday afternoon so here is hoping he manages to secure a cheap flight.

Update.

The Jetta was collected this morning and is currently in its way back to Belfast but it put up a bit of a fight as the bloody bonnet catch decided to fail JUST as i was closing the deal. Quick drive to my local Skoda dealership and they had the new catch fitted 20 mites later but at a cost of £80!

Bummer.... but better to get it fixed and then everyone leaves the deal happy.  :happy2:

Sad to see it go?

Could have fixed it with a bit more perseverance but decided to just replace it. It cost me £80 but the Karma points make it worthwhile.

The only thing i will miss is the size of the boot as it was MASSIVE but that is about it. Yes the Jetta had storage draws and arm rest which the Golf doesn't but these can be added over time.
