Hello All

I'm not entirely new and know most of he characters on here already just through reading your posts over the last 18 months or so.  I was waiting to get 'spotted' before I posted but waiting for that has got a bit boring now  :sad1:.  Whilst i don't expect the entrance Rachel got a few weeks ago I thought I'd say hello :-).

Anyway I have a very nice Silver 3 door Ed30. She's got most of the desirable extra's and it took me some time to find her when I was looking back then.  She's completely factory standard and unmolested with the exception of a couple of minor cosmetic changes.  Those being dealer fitted rear LED's and a silver ashtray cover :P don't ask why cause I don't know the original owner spec'd those things on it... (I quite like the silver ashtray cover tbh !).

Whilst I can keep her I will but work may force me into a soot chucker at some point :-(.  Her's some nice pic's to keep you all happy  :jumping:

Welcome along, at last, buddy (and to the ED30 club as well  :congrats:)

Love it in Silver, she is a beauty  :love:, I came very close to getting one the same but my fetish for red got the better of me, am on my 5th straight red car!!

If your planning on keeping it unmolested, good luck with that!! Got the same ashtray lid too, looks good. Get yourself a OSIR dead pedal, seat inlays and aluminium climate control ring covers, all loom OEM+ IMHO. Sholud get you started modding.

Welcome, my silver ED30 5dr came from Barnsley, well haylesden VW in January this year. Im sure you will enjoy it!  :happy2:

Have another silver ed30 3dr appeared local to me in west yorkshire, so thought it may have been you when i saw the post.

In all honesty I had a Tornado Red DSG Ed30 prior to this one.  After 3 months it had to go back.  It wasn't right and the dealer was useless.

Ended up with a full refund and I bought this one privately in immaculate condition !!

I'd have been happy with Red, Black, Silver or white if I'm honest...

I may do a few more cosmetic mods at some point but I was toying with the idea of a GTD tbh.  I'm plumbed for keeping her for at least another 6 months atm.  If the job allows (Ie i don't have to do huge mileage) then I'll keep her indefinitely and likely start the proper mods :P

I've also seen another Silver Ed30 around Leeds tbh I didn't catch the reg either time but it looked remarkably similar to mine... possibly Hurdy's old car as it had rear LED's

I am up in Leeds quite a bit tbh so it could well have been me :-).

The Red Ed30 was from Chesterfield mate.  I saw it up for sale again only a few months ago tbh...
