Thanks a lot lads,   :happy2:

The camera is a blackvue 380G HD, it cost £170, there is also a 400G and 500G model available with more features, but I felt the 380G is good enough for my needs!!
Really happy with it, I'll upload another video soon, the jumpiness from the first video has gone and the speed is displaying after it picks up GPS signal,

Was gutted I didn't get up to Dubshed in Belfast on Sunday, but had a family party Saturday night, I had the car clean ready to go early Sunday morning, but a combination of a hangover and my wife about to have our 2nd baby, I decided to give it a miss!

Anyway, I had a few things tidied up on the car in the last week getting ready for the show,
first up was a new windscreen, fitted by Autoglass, all good so far!!

Then I got a nasty scratch/dent sorted on the passenger wing, on it from before I bought it

Now

Need to get a replacement passenger side mirror now, didn't get time to get it changed

I also got another big box off the postman today, he's being good to me lately!!!

A set of OEM Octavia LED tail lights from the Chinese Octavia,

Anyway, more pics!

New v Old

Last few pictures for now, some I took a while ago, not the best as there off my phone, but to give an idea at night!

Thanks man!!

I picked up a set of Golf R pad retaining clips a few weeks back from Greeners for my 345mm calipers, they look much better than the standard small clips,

They were actually pretty faded as they had been on his Golf R for a few years and were replaced for new ones, perfect for what I wanted!!

I got them sprayed silver

I also bought a set of high temperature decals on eBay

Old pad clips removed

Old clip v new one!

Happy how it turned out!

Looks good, the contrast between the silver and red cally really draw the eye in... not sure I'd wear the Audi centres tho.

Thanks fella's, it's practically impossible to get other centre for the CH028, they have smaller diameter cap's than other CH's as they are oem Audi wheels, been looking for a while now for different caps, I have a set of ABT chrome caps that fit, but they look horrible, I might try get some decal's made up to cover them!

Sorry, but another picture filled update, nothing special though, just some minor additions!!

I picked up some 8mm H&R spacers a while ago, hadn't had a chance to fit them with the new baby taking up most of my free time lately!

It's not much of a difference as the original offset of the BBS is fairly good, but just sits them nicer under the arch,

Before

After

That gives a final ET of 35 on an 18x8'' wheel which is about as good as you can get on an Octavia without adjusting camber,

I also picked up some BBS resin decals a while ago too, the reason is the BBS CH028 are oem Audi wheels and the standard BBS centre caps will not fit, they are approx 68mm diameter on the outside, but only 55mm on the inner ring, so almost impossible to get centre caps that will fit, and BBS don't list any for them,

Anyway, I picked up 2 sets of decals, there hard resin ones so should be up to the job!

Black carbon effect

Red BBS with silver writing

Luckily when I bought my BBS, I got 2 sets of centre caps, the oem AUdi caps and a set of ABT chrome caps, which looked terrible on the car, but the have a completely flat surface so perfect to fit the decals on,

I sanded the faces down, not sure if it would actually make a difference, but the decal will probably grip better to the non shiny surface, could be wrong here, but it's done now!!

Stuck on and ready to fit!

Final results!

This is the kerbed wheel btw

One last pic of how it sits on spacers

I'm going to try get another set of ABT centre caps and fit the black BBS decals to them, I'm unsure if I like the red BBS caps or not!!

Well I bought myself a new set of Felgen's for the vRS last week on eBay.de,
I've been running on the CH's the last few months, so thought I'd try a set of 19's again for the rest of the summer, while I get a chance to get 2 of the CH lips refurbed and also want to get my 18'' vRS Zeniths refurbed too!!

Here they are anyway, haven't got tyre's fitted to them yet, but can't wait to get them fitted....

They are genuine Audi Calera 19 x 8.5 ET48 originally from the A6 C6 afaik,
I haven't seen many of them around tbh, it's nice to find Audi wheel's that haven't got replica's of them everywhere!!

I just got home from holidays last night, I hadn't seen the wheels as they just arrived from Germany on Thursday,
So first thing today, I went up to check them out, hoping they were as good as they looked in the pictures and that they were what they were meant to be, my translation from German eBay wasn't the best, so I was happy to find them exactly as I hoped they would be!!

I haven't got tyre's for them yet, but the urge to test fit them made me throw on one for a look anyway....

Should look good, really happy how they look, I actually think there nicer than I was expecting tbh!

Great looking rim there, actually a lot better than the BBS that's on the rear. Get some good PSS on them and you have a winning combination  :congrats:

Over the top mod list ;o)
