Missfire/spluttering at low rpm or idle

It's a 08 GTI with a 3'' jetex TBE ,K+N intake and a rtech remap ,replaced plugs 4000 miles ago(oem plugs) and diverter and PCV  were replaced 1000 miles ago,getting a spluttering/miss at idle and up to 1500 rpm but ONLY when the engine is hot it started to happen today ,no ecu/fault lights . any ideas guy's ??

If it's doing it at idle I'd suggest coilpacks!

This but I'd do a vcds log scan for misfires before fiddling with changing coilpacks...

Done that yesterday and nothing showed up,cleaned and checked the plug gaps,i'm hoping it's just a faulty coilpack

Did you log misfire count with the engine running or just did a standard fault scan?

Sorry a bit off topic, do you still have the UB spacers for sale?

I have an R32 and was running a blueflame cat back and all was
OK but I have fitted a Milltek cat back at the weekend and now the exhaust is fouling on the UB.

Did you log misfire count with the engine running or just did a standard fault scan?

No i just did a standard fault scan with a snap on diagnostic tool ,how do you log a misfire ??

If you use vcds then a live run logging blocks 015 and 016 will show up which cylinder is misfiring. You only get a fault stored if the misfire count exceed a certain value.

Turned out to be the primary 02 sensor (pre-cat) ,£60.23p later for a bosch 02 sensor from andrew page and the job is a good un   :laugh:
