Bird photography
Edition_slim:
Was go karting at RAF wittering a few weeks ago, in the field next I camp were 5 Kites, this is the only half decent picture I got (I'm still a photography noob )

Nice pic. Kites are enormous birds. Loads of them around the M40 corridor just out of the m25. There was a breeding program there i believe.

@phil; Amzing shot there bud, I saw one in the garden, straight out the kitchen window a few months ago, sat on the wall, but I couldn't walk quietly enough or quickly enough to grab the camera... once I'd come back it was gone; it looked like it had dive bombed a small bird which was left injured in the garden, made a dusty dent in the conservatory window... poor little beggar, it was mashed but still alive, so had to do the decent thing :(
Get a lot of wild birds of prey around here, but never have I seen one staring back at me from sucha close distance… curses for not having a camera.

The Kite are such a beautiful bird to see in flight - I've never seen any photos of those perched anywhere!
