The more the merrier! I think Goldfinches are my favourites at the moment.

That cutie-pie is a juvenile female Goldfinch. I haven't seen more than 5 in one session at my 'Bird Cafe' so far but I'm glad the parents introduce their young to the cafe.
I saw a very handsome male Bullfinch at my table a couple of times last year but not this year so far.

Word has got around.. Hmmm, sunflower kernels.. nom, nom, nom..

....So, that feeder of yours is for sunflower kernels only, not the whole seed?
I have an abundance of all the tits visiting my 'Bird Cafe' but when my sunflower heads turn to seed, the Blue Tits will be all over them. For now it's the turn of Hoverflies, Bumble and Honey Bees, and the occasional Butterfly.

I decided on sunflower kernels to attract more variety and to have less mess! Great tits, blue tits, coal tits, goldfinches and house sparrows so far. Plus squirrels who 'hoover up' any spillages! I'll be getting some more feeders soon, ready for the winter months.
PND:
A few more from today, including a one-footed heron!
