My handsfree VW Touch doesnt play any audio?

So after fitting my VW bluetooth touch kit, I've tried making and recieving a call.

Apparently they could hear me clear as day, however i couldnt hear a single word they said and it didnt cut my music out? Tried flicking through the settings on the touch kit and on my RCD 500 but couldnt find anything and the manual doesnt offer any help either.

No idea where to start really but hopefully someone can help?

I've checked all my plugs are in the correct port's etc but have no idea other than that.

Fixed it!

Turns out theres two plugs and a connector behind the HU as part of the new loom, a yellow connector with 2 options a blue and yellow wire and a yellow and red.

If its connected to the wrong one it wont fade the radio out and wont play any audio over.

I know im talking to myself here but if anyone has this problem in the future its good to be able to look back on :)
