I know its still summer (apparently!) Looking at getting some winter tyres for my 17 inch Monzas, recommendations, where to buy?

I've got Kuhmo KW27 tyres on 17" rims. They cost just under £100 each last year from my local tyre fitter.

Noting the reference to Camskill, recently I've found black circles to be cheaper when you factor in fitting costs.

I've got a set of 17's for winter running Kleber Quadraxer (all weather rubber) on the fronts which I had fitted last year, so they really only saw all the rain with a little snow/slush and held up very well. On the rears I have some Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme's which I had from the previous year. They saw some proper snow use and held up a treat.

They might be coming up for sale depending on which direction I take with the next upgrade. ;) Will know more in the next couple of weeks.

Big shout for Conti WinterContact TS830P from me, so good in the cold/snow two winters back that I bought another set for other halfs car last year as well.

Though gotta say they aren't what I'd called cheap, that said hardly worn after two seasons so guess looking good 'value' - and all things relative I guess.

You'll be ok buying 17's - her A4 Avant is on 245/40/18 and they were a fair few quid per corner.
