Is the MK5 GTI ED30 Twintercooler the same as the MK6 GTI version?

i can't say for definite, but i'd say it's unlikely on the grounds that the Mk6 GTI has the same intercooler as the facelift S3 with the plastic end tanks. so it'll probably be compatible with an S3 intercooler, but not the Mk5 GTI/Ed30
