Got mine today all fitted just waited for day to turn to night...

Anyone know if the side lights in the r32 Xenons share the same bulb as the indicator as my sidelights look very very orange?

The sidelights on xenon equipped cars use the W5W type, I use 13 smd LED's in my sidelights
They have a very crisp white light instead of the yellow halogen bulb that is fitted as standard.
Sorry no pics

No need to take bumper off to replace bulbs

Agreed...it is very tight in there.i skinned all my knuckles And I.ve got skinny fingers  :ashamed:
Have you got a friendly VW dealer who might help you without charging.
Or maybe someone on this forum who lives near you could help.

my passenger side sidelight came off easy, however the driver side was a pain, took a lot of twisting and turning to loosen and pull it out.

I used my mates NWS ergonomic 45' long nosed pliers. He's a sparky so he has all sorts of pliers.

I know his pliers will be quite expensive though. I can also get the bulbs out easily with normal pliers.

Practice makes perfect!!!

Remember, just PULL straight back on the bulb holder. Do NOT Twist.

It gets easier every time.

Moving the charcoal canister out of the way makes the drivers side easier to do also.

O.K then stupid question time................................

Can the MTEC H7 55W super white HID bulbs be used on a ED30 with standard front lights and if so are they a straight replacement ?

I think I'd attach a small magnet to a wire coat hanger and get it out through the hole  :happy2:

Fitted all the interior LED's today and am well chuffed with their look. A lot easier to fit than I originally thought. Will be outside latter opening and closing doors, locking and unlocking, turning lights on and off, gives the neighbours something to watch if nothing else. :signLOL:

Cheers for arranging this mod Carlo.  :happy2:
