Ciao Pietro

Not sure matey???  :ashamed:

If you email Matt I'm 99% sure he will know. He deals with a lot of the Audi lads (he has an Audi himself) so there is a good chance if these aren't the ones you want, he will have them.  :happy2:

Ciao dude  :drinking: Thanks, I'll see what he has to say.

Is he on ASN.net too do you know at all?
I think in truth it's very unlikely these will clear a 2010+ CECM car (they have an extremely sensitive canbus, as I've found from my own and others' experience) but worth checking).

My £26 worth of OEM+ 18 LED bulb units are about to be returned & replaced as one failed. Would be nice if there's a cheaper alternative in future though  :happy2:

Do the head light bulbs effect the lights in anyway which it'll fail the MOT?

Im just changing mine now and have just realised that my 2006 GTI has the extra bulb inbetween the two map lights at the front (should have checked first :ashamed:)

Can I use the spare which is the same as the boot one to go in there or not?!

Cheers,
Matt

Also, I've changed the 3 map lights in the rear but the bulbs are physically too big to fit through the holes on the cover!

Anyone else had this?!

I think the boot one will be too long to fit but I'm not certain as my 2006 GTI doesnt have 3 in the front, which is strange!!

I sent off for my LED's when this thread started but only just fitting them today!!

Most of them were pretty easy but the my drivers side footwell was a pain! For some reason the clear plastic lens cover sits flush with the trim above the pedals so I couldn't wedge it out.  (the passenger side doesn't sit flush so was easy to wedge out and remove!)  So I removed two torx screws from the trim above the pedals and removed the whole piece so I could push the bulb unit out from the other side!! This seemed much simpler than brute force!!

I'm not going to bother with the glovebox one as it too sits flush and is too awkward to get to.  I'll have to destroy it to remove it!

Great service. Bought some but not all if the lights.  :drinking:

I actually came to this by looking for a solution to the boot being too dark for Mrs MrDo.  The new LED light works a treat. She is happy too  :pomppomp:

Not sure about the white light in the footwells, seems a little harsh to me, but may get used to it. Still to do the map reading etc interior lights, my worry is they will be too bright but find out soon enough.

Do you have Highline? On some cars you can adjust the footwell lighting through the dash display  :happy2:
