Tyre pressures?? :confused:
Had a tyre pressure warning light this afternoon , but didnt think too much of it, as outside temp was very hot, perhaps i have a slow punture.

will check those in the morning 1st thing just to make sure.

sorry to hear Phil.
Out of interest is it better or worse in a low gear quick accel (2nd) vs 6th gear low revs pull??
the latter may make it worse (by placing more load on the coilpack) and feel rougher...
If its a coil pack the CEL will probably light very soon too  :surprised:

on a side note, 12 or 7 weights to balance a wheel that seems already a bit excessive to me...

ok, out to get morning papers, rechecked tyre pressures and found one at 30 psi and others 34psi.

Set all wheels by hedges reccommendation of 39psi (2.6Bar) and seems to have improved it slightly but still not great.

accelarate from 70mph to 90ish i get the feeling the balancing is wrong, i can feel ever so slightly wheel shake, but travelling at a constant speed is fine at ANY SPEED, and hasnt lost any performance, so coil pack or missfire i think can be ruled out.

Agree with you John_o, 12 weights seems abit excessive, not sure whether to go back to the place that done the balancing or go somewhere else to see if they agree and redo them.

2nd gear accelation is smooth as , holding any speed is smooth, only apon acelarating from 70 and beyond, it happens.

might be a long shot but check the tyres are seated on the rims correctly ! tyre places use too many lazy kids imo !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indeed guys, just to update, swopped my front wheels to the back and vice versa, and BINGO!!, shes now spot on , so tis indeed or was a Balancing issue with an Alloy. It doesnt give any cabin Vibration with it on the back so thats good enough for me.
