New to the forum and GTI's! Not my first VAG car but, its my first turbo petrol car. Normally opt for a TDI. This came up though and I couldn't turn it down..
Anyway sorry for my first post to be a question.. but I guess thats what the forum is for (have tried searching before posting by the way)
Trying to fit an Ipod dock out of an 8P Audi..
I have removed the CD changer in armrest.. the harness for the dock and changer seem the same. The ipod/iphone will charge up but won't play any sound. I keep getting this message on the headunit.
My understanding was it'd be a plug in a play situation. Am I going to require some kind of coding through VCDS?
