IM not sure that they would be able to tell if the ESP had been turned off Robin. As once the cars engine has been turned off and back on, the ESP would turn back on again.

I don't think in any insurance policy you need to have ESP on... The list would be pretty long  - ESP, ASR, ESR etc and many more

Greenlight dont insure cars that lack ABS, but esp been off, im not sure, it would depend on the circumstances of the crash surely.

If you lost control and had esp off then maybe but as Rich says once the car has been turned off the esp turns back on.

Would be very difficult to prove that one me thinks, unless you disabled it in vagcom.

My advice would always be leave the ESP on, but I never listen to myself! :evilgrin:

Cheers, guys - Not a particularly intelligent question on my part but was curious. Although I insure with Greenlight I didn't know about their ABS policy.

Although it is a nuisance when you feel ESP tug you, I normally keep my foot planted and drive 'through' it.
