Seat leaver GTi inserts things

Hi all, some where I saw on a VW forum a thread/pictures about small metal (alloy) inserts that fix to the seat leaver and also foot rest plates.

Can someone point me in the right direction, thanks.

What do these look like on the car (in the flesh). Do they look smart or tacky? Pictures i have seen they look ok.
