Nice car mate!
Currently trying to decide between petrol and diesel myself.
What swayed it for you?

My daily commute is about 20 miles round trip a day, but do some long drive at weekend to see mates all over the country (I don't drink so am always designated driver but don't mind).
Heart says gti and be more choosy over trip locations, but head says diesel and travel even more! Arrgghh haha!

Yeah, true, Ive read a fair bit about the dpf issues on the 170, and due to short regular trips may go for the 140 and remap.
Sorry to hijack your thread, cheers

You won't go far wrong with either Eibach or H&R.

H&R drop ever so slightly lower however are marginally harsher.

As mentioned earlier they are both bloody brilliant. Just watch out for the Pro Sport eibachs. They lower the car a gnat's bollock and are pointless IMO.  :happy2:

Can't comment on H&R's but I've had a few Eibach Pro Kits. They firm up the suspension nicely and (actually) do lower the car just a subtle amount. Here's mine on Pro Springs and 18" Wheelz

Thanks, not that much louder to be honest. I thought it was going to sound like a tractor but its fine, Sounds awesome when turbo comes in tho, love it lol. Like an owl or something lol..

I was worried a little tho, i obv discontected the battery when welding. When everything was done and i started it up then steering whell light and esp light were on

They did go off after driving about 50 feet, so i was happy lol.. Just dont understand whey those lights came on
