i have been asked by the in laws to sort them out a new desktop PC, needs to include a monitor and have a budget of between £400 and £500.  anyone know of good deals at the moment or ones to avoid.

I would go Dell Outlet but hit it early in the morning and do it over a few days so you get a feel for what's available.

I'm assuming they wont need a hardcore gaming PC.  :laugh:

With that budget, and considering you don't need a gaming PC, you should be able to pick up a pretty well spec'd machine. As hedge mentioned, check the Dell Outlet etc.

^^^ Don't think so, I set them a gmail account up and they are still amazed you can access it from any computer.   :laugh: :laugh:
