Exhaust Options in the West Mids ?
« on: August 01, 2012, 09:44:04 pm »
Hey guys and gals
After my motor passed her MOT with flying colours Ive decided its time to let the modding commence with haste !

First major thing I want to do is get the exhaust sorted ! , Currently got the standard setup on GT TDI , hidden away behind the bumper
My request is two fold really , Im looking for somewhere I can take my motor and have an exhaust fitted "While I Wait" preferably...
Secondly I need a bit of help choosing what to go for ( I suppose it all comes down to which fitters I can find ) , It looks like its gonna be a Milltek system but open to reasonable other offers

Any suggestions please guys ;)

John

p.s I know the topic has been brought up before but despite my searching on the forum nothing has given me any insight on where to get it done in my region...nor has google for that matter !

Had the exhaust on my Rocco done at Stafford exhausts. Had it done just over a year and can't say anything negative really. Price was good, quality seems good, sounds good etc.

You will need to change the lower half of the rear bumper to one with an exhaust cut out first won't you?

I'm probably looking at either a cat back system or a full turbo back system , depends on the cost for each I guess
And yes I will need change my lower bumper over as it has no exhaust cut outs.

I guess what I'm looking for Is professional "one stop shop" that can do it all for me lol , I don't mind a slight travel as long as I get quality

If you're gonna go for a Milltek, R-Tech seem to have some good prices so worth speaking to Nick. (Their customer service is very good too).

Honest opinion, put £30 of fuel in and go to BCS in Warrington, you'll never look back.
Revo Stage2 - With Linear Throttle
Revo DSG
BCS Turboback Powervalve - This is a must.
