Airtec Intercooler - might take the plunge.
« on: August 09, 2012, 01:52:36 pm »
Thinking of taking the plunge and getting an Airtec Intercooler (not the twintercooler type). I was going to get a ProAlloy one, but can't justify £720, did consider THS but have posted on their Facebook page and emailed them and no response to my questions, one as simple as is the price shown on their website inclusive of VAT...

So am now considering taking the plunge on the Airtec one, seem to work, the RS boys love them and it's a better price... Wins all round then.

Any reason not to go with the Airtec one?

Also what is the maximum Revo Stage 2 would give with all the supporting parts, APR pump, EVOMS, BCS TBE and Airtec...? Currently running 310bhp without intercooler.

Cheers guys as always.

I think i read somewhere not so long back a thread on these on this very forum. Im almost certain there a no go on the mk5 as the hoses dont even come close to fitting.
