Wheels..
« on: August 05, 2012, 01:15:55 pm »
Hi all, I am in 2 minds what to do with my monza's as they are not in a good way.
The choices at the moment as I don't want to spend a lot are..
I have a friend who can refurb them using paint and make them nice and shiny, or I have seen these on eBay, but I cannot seem to find and pics on google of them on a red mk5..

I only want to spend about £350 with tyres on so am a bit stuck!!

I think I am going to go for the top set of BBS as they are genuine and quite a good price! The only thing is they have got 2.5mm on 2 and 3.5mm on the other 2 tyres. What length of time should they last me? A good couple of thousand I would think???
No one like the BMW alpina wheels on a red mk5 then no?

you wouldn't get BMW wheels onto a Mk5

the offset is far too low to accommodate adapters

Well that is them ones out of the window then!! What sort of weight would I be looking at for them? As I am going to need to have them couriered up to me!

Paisley freight will send 18's for £30 and 19's for £40. I think that's including tyres.
