Afternoon all....

I thought I'd introduce myself as I have now joined the Mk5 club!  My name is Alexis and I'm from Rotherham but spend most of my time down south due to work.

I have made the move from a Mk4 R32 which I owned for about 4 years and loved every moment and having a fuel card from work helped a lot! I then sold the R32 and went to a company car for about a year until I bought a Mk5 Gti yesterday.

First impressions were very good and couldn't believe just how smooth the power delivery was, cracking car.  The first thing on the list are the alloys, it has the 17" Monzas so I'm on the hunt for some 18" Monzas 2 if anybody knows of any :wink:

I've added a couple of pics below of the cars.

It was a choice whether to look for one with full leather or one with 18" Monzas and this one came up first.  So the hunt is now on for the wheels which is proving a little difficult!
