turbo discharge pipe

Does anyone have pictures of the standard gti turbo discharge pipe next to the k04 discharge pipe?

pictures of both ends if possible!

No pics but the metal part of both are identical.
Where they differ is the size of the outlet that attaches to the turbo (k04 larger than k03) and corresponding silicone/rubber tubing.
Without traction power is nothing!

see i have just has a k04 fitted and they didnt use the discharge pipe i bought...so i have a k04 discharge pipe spare, i dont see how thats possible going off what i had read and what you just said!

Only way I can see this happening is if you bought one of APR's new k04 stealth turbos.
Do you have the relocated dv hosing visible in the engine bay as if you do then you'll not have the APR turbo.
Without traction power is nothing!

:confused:     I have both pipes matey, i have just boxed them up from my shed as well as i am moving house. I will try and get a pic up in a bit for you

I had the DV relocated to the front of the engine..  :grin: magic

Here you go matey.


The one on the left is k04 with the red piping and much larger opening. The one from the k03 will fit the k04 as the mounting points are the same, just you will have less air flow. I'd get under the car and see if you have the black silicone pipe as thats prob the only way to tell without taking the whole pipe off.  :happy2:

I am fairly certain a k03 discharge pipe would not bolt up to the k04 turbo outlet as the dimensions and bolt holes placement appear different.
