Ok so over the weekend you might of read on here that my handbrake warning light and 'bonger' suddenly started going off whist driving as it thinks the handbrake is on when it isn't.
Then yesterday morning the dreaded engine management light came on and remains on today.
Last night on the drive home the handbrake 'bonging sound' stopped but the handbrake warning light remained on, however this morning the bonging is back!
If thats not enough im also now getting a creaking/crackle from somewhere in the interior rear corner, at first I thought it was the seatbelt creaking on the leather but I moved the belt and its still happening and im pretty sure its actually a crackle coming out of the rear passenger speaker when I go over rough ground as if the wires are loose on the back of the speaker. I do get one big kinda crackle/crack sound from the speakers when I turn on or off the ignition but never really thought too much about it as its done it since Ive owned the car (only 3 weeks).
Whats going on!?
Ive booked it in with VW as it needs a service anyway so thought I would get it all sorted at the same time, however they cant see it until next wednesday.
Im a bit worried that something else could go wrong in the week I have to wait, especially with the engine management light being on.
Does anyone recognise these symptoms or is there anything I can check to try and resolve these problems myself?
