What is this pipe/cable?
« on: August 13, 2012, 08:08:02 am »
I was working on my car yesterday and knocked the pipe between the red lines.  I then heard something hissing like air escaping.  What is this pipe/cable?  Have I done any harm?  Should I consider replacing it?

Thanks in advance.

I think its the vacuum line for brake assistance to the servo.

Thanks.  So as the brakes seem fine then all should be okay?

Should I be concerned that it seems to leak air when I put downward pressure on it?
