Gti better badge, better looking, nicer interior, leon, faster and stops, I would go Leon, because hot hatches are supposed to be fast.

I was looking at the 2 but between the GT Sport and the FR. At the time the injector issue was just raising its ugly head and there were rumours that Seat used different injectors then VW so the VW's weren't affected. That's what made my mind up. Obviously that is not true and anything with the PD170 is prone for it.

I preferred the look on the FR and you could get a very well spec'd car for a few K less than the Golfs. Never saw inside one though until a few weeks back when I went in a mates. I personally think the interior is horrid so was glad I got the Golf.

GTI much more usable and comfortable for every day use, the reason i bought one. Leon Cupra would be chosen if i had to get a fun/trackday toy.

Not sure how many different Cupras are available?

I'm not too keen on them in standard clothes, but with the different spoilers, side skirts and bumpers they look amazing  :happy2:

I looked at a Cupra once. Couldn't walk properly after an 8 mile test drive. The ride is spine-crushing!

I had a GTI for 3 years. Then bought a Leon Cupra and had it for 1,5 years and after that went again with a GTI.

I did enjoy the Cupras power but the DSG with K03 still edges it when accelerating from standstill. I have done numerous 0-100kmh measurements with both. Basicly the GTI is much more enjoyable package for me. I just like the general feel of the Golf, interior is miles ahead and I also like the Golfs look a lot better. I love the GTI seats, Cupras seats arent bad but they dont have heating, which is quite important for winter times in Finland.

I always felt with Cupra that I didnt get to enjoy the power until I was at illegal speeds. However the GTI smaller turbo picks up quicker and feels like I can utilize all of its performance better. Its hard to explain.. Im still wondering what would a K04 conversion feel like in a GTI but maybe I will never do it.

It feels like a Stage 1 Cupra, mine's had the K04 conversion forover 70.000km now  :innocent:
