Sorry Andrew  :signLOL:

For someone that owns a company selling all these parts I have shown remarkable restraint with my GTI. I am yet to do a single mod but they will come. That is more a lack of time to do it than anything else. I have only had it 6 or 7 weeks as well to be fair.

I have actually advised customers in the past to stop modding cars and look at buying something with a better base for the power and I think you are right with your ED30, stage 2+ is adequate power for a FWD car. An RS3 or Golf R would be a great base for huge power, particularly the RS3. That is what I am aiming for in 3 or 4 years time.

haha well i suppose if could still buy those forge silicone hoses off you... maybe.... oh no its started already, its this damn forum... therapy needed

it gives the same feeling I get when I buy a new car. :happy2:
You mean that gut-wrenching feeling of "Oh my God! What have I done?!?!?!?"

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

....Kim Collins' (QST/MTM) RS3 is ~470 bhp / ~600 Nm. It would add ~£3,500 at least to the price though.

I get that feeling even after spending any more than £100 on a mod!

....Who are you calling stupid?

ClimAir wind deflectors are the last mod I paid less than £100 for and I'm sure I could find more to list if I could be bothered.

I've actually stopped modding.............................several times! :signLOL:

Plenty of mods for under £100.

Red GTI badges, Black front VW logo, carbon wrapping, Gulfstreams inserts and footrests, stubby aerial....all mods in my view
Golf R gone.

I think I have spend upwards of £4000 on mine, but on the other hand I have had this year for almost two years, thats double what i've kept most cars before and four times as long as I kept the Porsche.  I intend to keep a good while longer too, I can't think of anything I can afford that will come anywhere near as close. So over a few years of swapping cars I could have lost around the same money on PXing etc.

I've also got a lot of enjoyment from the mods, the car turns heads every time i'm on the road and there is not one golf I have seen that looks like mine.
