Great figures there John..  :surprised: Should see a 15 sec run at Marham going off that I reckon.  :happy2:

Fingers crossed Mike for that. 15.XX and I'd be a jovial hopper :jumping:

Golf R gone.

Firstly that is Mighty impressive Hurdy, Ive heard about this car off Simon House....

From 60 to 100 it's slower then my Ed30 at stage 2 by 1 second.

Steve out of curiosity what was the 60-100mph time in your stage 2 ED30?

Cheers

60-100kmph in 4 seconds dead. :innocent:

I managed 0-60 in 6.1, with 3mm fronts so struggled for traction, easily can better that by .5 with new rubber.

That's why I couldn't believe there's a noticeable difference higher up, and this car is also modified.

Don't want to burst your bubble Steve, but I think you might need to re-calibrate your iphone app pal.. Not a chance in hell that a Stage 2 ED30 is doing 4 seconds dead from 60-100mph unless it's being run in San Fransico  :signLOL:. That's over full second quicker than a Stage 2+ Ed30 and even GTR pace mate.

All of the figures are pointless unless done on the same performance meter at the same time and place, otherwise can and worms springs to mind. Good for a laugh, but I would take those figures with a massive pinch of salt..

I will do another run, but hurdy himself used the same app, and found its only .1 of a second off the race logic.

But in the interest of science I will reset and retry once I get my fresh rubber and car back..

Interesting though, on route to DMR last Friday, following a 450bhp Aston Db9 ,from 60 to 100kmph  :innocent:, he couldn't shake me off  :surprised:

I too love lots of salt and do agree Ben  :happy2:

DB9's aren't particularly quick given their bhp output.. Oh and their 60-100mph time is over 6 secs..

Get it strapped to a Vbox at some point Steve. Or even better, get her down Pod again.   I've got Dynolicious on my phone and it is very temperamental.. 'Can' be very accurate if sometimes though, I'll give it that.

I used my ipad3, same as John. I need to work out near enough the correct weight for a 5 dr ed30 DSG , so that eliminates an error that way.

The weight input on the dynolocious app has no effect on the 0-60 and 0-100 runs.... put in 40000000tons. It will read the same

Very true Rich. That is for the BHP measure.

Steve - My Ed30 when weighed on proper corner scales was 1356kgs with 1/4 tank of fuel. So add a few extra kgs for the 2 extra doors and you are about there..  :happy2:

I wish you would come over to vagoc some more with that voice of reason and common sense Ben! Would be nice to have someone other than myself and jonny who doubt a 500hp TTRS owners claims of posting quicker v-box figures than statlers 700hp Porsche, Ferrari enzos and those two BT 996 turbos I was with last year at marham, on v-power and WMI.

As much as I would love to Jas, I feel I would be banging my head against a wall like many of you lot.. Plus I don't have the experience of a 500bhp TTRS (Ed30's I do)..

One big factor that I can see after just having a quick browse, is that you lot are comparing Marham times with 'on the road' times.. Waste of time mate..

That's the other thing though, it's quicker than the on road and brunters times I've got from various cars too. And robj Is running the exact same spec basically same weight yet 2 seconds slower LOL.

Anyway I'll see you at marham soon, will be interesting to see what times the stripped hybrid turbo TTRS will do on race fuel

Sorry Jason this is not true at all.  Robs times you keep comparing to and quoting. His car was not running same intercooler (lot smaller), exhaust, or intake kit, and rob has a different spec compressor in his LO500P turbocharger and map compared to Ciprians, also Robs car was detuned or not tuned hard as i stated before, i was told this by ttshop and REVO, and thats all the logs APR have been using here there and every where around the web.  Robs car was consistently slower then ttshops car at all events but also lighter i think, also again this was before they now changed IC and intake and HPFP and map with great gains on there green LO500P car.   :happy2:

Robs car is not the bench mark imho never was.

Im also looking fwd to the stripped LO500P TTRS will do on race fuel.. i hope TTshop can dial it in.  There's much to be said to setting a car up to do its best with hardware imho, Statller is proof of this....

Hurdy Email me please.

Hurdy Email me please.

Is ciprians turbo updated? Is the stripped TTRS prepped by the tt shop going to be running max potential do you know?

Fair enough ciprians car could be alot more powerful, but even at 550hp theres no way it would be quicker than the LO700 997 turbo!
