robj Is running the exact same spec basically same weight yet 2 seconds slower LOL.

Anyway I'll see you at marham soon, will be interesting to see what times the stripped hybrid turbo TTRS will do on race fuel

Sorry Jason this is not true at all.  Robs times you keep comparing to and quoting. His car was not running same intercooler (lot smaller), exhaust, or intake kit, and rob has a different spec compressor in his LO500P turbocharger and map compared to Ciprians, also Robs car was detuned or not tuned hard as i stated before, i was told this by ttshop and REVO, and thats all the logs APR have been using here there and every where around the web.  Robs car was consistently slower then ttshops car at all events but also lighter i think, also again this was before they now changed IC and intake and HPFP and map with great gains on there green LO500P car.   :happy2:

Robs car is not the bench mark imho never was.

Im also looking fwd to the stripped LO500P TTRS will do on race fuel.. i hope TTshop can dial it in.  There's much to be said to setting a car up to do its best with hardware imho, Statller is proof of this....

Hurdy Email me please.

Is ciprians turbo updated? Is the stripped TTRS prepped by the tt shop going to be running max potential do you know?

Fair enough ciprians car could be alot more powerful, but even at 550hp theres no way it would be quicker than the LO700 997 turbo!

Yes Ciprain has latest compressor.  How would i know regarding the stripped car the owner don't even know times or power yet haha i think hes asking same mate .. i honestly feel imo a car needs setting up on a dyno to get the best from it.

But ive raced/pulled (on the roll) side by side with Stattlers LO700 997 and the GOLF LO4XX and the golf actually kept with us id say to 80 or so maybe or wasn't loads in it anyway  ... then the 997 was off, the 997 is a big speed car its crazy over 100mph pulling to 200mph like 2.0tfsi do to 100. I dont think 30-130 suits the 997 LO700 as stevo always telling me struggling for grip even on 888... its a vmax car as proved.

i will admit the times Ciprain car has shown both video and pbox screen shots are fantastic and very fast compared to slower cars, but id not say he was a lier at all there is to much data to disbelieve..  the way the rev counter and speed climbs says is quick.
i have another customer with a rs4 b5 LO600(fullfat) doing 6.1 sec 100-200kph again all data inc FATS/PBOX so on... its maybe fastest car on the forum SRS and widely know as, would you say that's false also?

Bolting hardware on a car is one thing getting it set to optimum is something else ..TBH ive seen this in many forms of motorsport bikes / karts just cause you got everything don't mean your have fastest machine if not set-up right.

its a shame hes not in the uk to attend a event as feel only way to know for your self really.

You cant argued with his data, hes clearly doing the times, I just dont know how. Whatever hes doing, im sure others want to know aswell. I expect it to be quick, but it just seems second or two too quick, but i can only go by what ive seen from other TTRS. 30-130 will be interesting, ciprian is a cool guy too, its all fun.

Sorry for taking your thread off topic btw hurdy

Anyone know if it is okay to swap the HPA Haldex controller over at WOT from race to stock?

I have a cunning plan!......

Mine would probably get close, but I'd have to strip the car a little, sticky rubber, add race fuel, turn on the Race map and use 60 or 70% meth mix. Even then I don't think I'd be under 11.5 :rolleye:
