Great times, but a lot of time and doh spend! all good though... but if you could change anything what would it be, for more or less power...

What comes out as being your best mods matey?

 :happy2:

The main course would be.....
Haldex Controller at number one
DSG remap at two
Bilsteins at three
4. Engine map
5. Light alloys.

Everything else is gravy

If I could change anything for less power............mmmmm.....nope!

For more power.......ohhhh yes if money was no object.

Realistically, the car is just about where I want it performance wise. Styling and I may well be doing a few nice mods here and there.

cheers !

good luck with today pal!
If it's not broke, Mod it.....

Silver is the way !

Not a bad day really.

12.11@112.25

So, over 112 and beat my previous best. :happy2:

Today's excuses are..........
Need to dial in the controller a little more. Still holds back a little.
The surface wasn't as good as I thought it would be for launches.

Other than that.......  :star:
Golf R gone.

Hmm could it be the eight thousand five hundred and thirty four billion LC runs down the strip gettin it nice & hot !! I'd be surprised if there's any piston rings left, be a good loose engine now that one

good times though John, think you need more grip for sub 12's though but we'll get you there before the seasons out

Very strong figures for a 2.0 Golf R.  Must be a real weapon?  :happy2:

Very similar figures in fact to a stage 1 RS3 that Ive been following on RS3OC

Yes, the car has had a "few" launches, but it hasn't faded yet!

Definitely need better grip, maybe a slightly higher launch rpm too?

Update.....

After a few adjustments and some nice cool weather recently I did another few 1/4 mile runs. I must say I'm impressed with how the car is running at the moment and using this method or recording my runs has yielded results within 0.05 seconds for the time at an official strip. :happy2:

just, just, JUST!! Yeh i'll give you that. haha! Just love it, i'd love it against a cocky jap guy in their evo thinking "it's a golf...simply".

Times are wicked aswell! Reminds me of my placement at ford with the STs (which ofcourse are nowhere near as good )
