Naked at first Darren and may leave it like that if it sits okay with the Steel grey paint.

^ Carbon + Steel Grey. Paint up to the crease? - Looks better than painting to line through with front and hence missing the bonnet crease line.



Goes well together in my opinion but it depends what overall look you want. Best to try without paint first - Adding paint easier than removing it!

The Golf has a grown up, sophictsicated look to it.  Naving naked carbon fibre panels goes against everything the golf is IMO.  Nothing shouts Max Power more than a carbon bonnet!!

Its something i expect to se on Jap kit or Vauxhalls lol, or Mikes Cupra

Painted carbon in my eyes is like buying the flashiest watch going and not showing it off.. Tbh you don't buy a part like that if your not going to tell people about it!!

And that steel grey one above with only the sides of the bonnet painted.. Now that is max power!

Exactly.  I didn't buy my bonnet for aesthetics or to shout about. I always wanted one but it was about weight reduction.

Osir carbon bonnet was not a fully carbon fibre was was laid over something else
