nice mr hurdy you wont be disapointed where you based i know its not in an R but could go for a blast in mine if your not to far?

I'm based in "Sunny" Sheffield. Don't worry though if you aren't close as I have been out in some fairly powerful VW's. Remember my ED30 was 440bhp and 510lbft on nitrous.....when it worked!! :happy2:

ahh yeah know what you mean mate but thought you would like to see how the tfsi drives with this turbo! but im down in bristol.. 440hp is pritty mad on nitorus lol was the engine and turbo stock.. have you decided what kit your going to use yet

The engine and turbo were stock. 100bhp shot of nitrous!!! :scared:

Custom kit. CTS kit looks good though.

What is wrong with the CTS kit Alex? I have the option of a tubular mani, so is the best option for me maybe.

Worked on the green 4wd Leon a while back which has the Cts kit. Loads better than the Atp rubbish, but just wasn't the best fit with the wastegate, inlet pipes etc.

Tsr have made an adapor for the turbo to allow the stadard downpipe to be fitted. Saves on costs.

Is that a Full Race mani?

Is the TFSi version top mount or underslung?

Excellent good to see your doing another turbo upgrade. Look forward to reading the updates.

If you need any more info on turbo choice and set up speak to S3alex on audi sport. He has used a varietuy of turbos on this engine including the one your thinking of going for:

a GT30 R will be insane. whats your target?

You sticking with GIAC or moving back to REVO or see what RTEC can do with a GT30 turbo!
