Msportsman,
This was an RR day at Awesome through SeatCupra.net. They have a thread on their site in the regional NW section.
Mine is a BT map straight out of GIAC's catalogue. It is fine tuned with the boost through the E-Boost controller and no longer has an N75 running the show.
I have been reading about the new S3 and R's and as of yet they don't have anything due out soon for getting past the ECU protection apart from tuning boxes, which I strongly advise against. I'd wait at least another year or two before taking the plunge with one.
I have tracked the R a few times ( besides the 1/4 mile runs). It is very neutral to near the limit and then it will tend towards understeer. ESP does kick in if you push too hard in sharp corners. 2012 onwards R's can have their ESP turned off fully though.
The R copes very well with the Haldex. I have a HPA race Haldex and it is excellent although I would have bought the competition Haldex if I'd known it keeps the prop shaft drive connected to the rear under braking and acts more like a permanent 4WD system.
Overall the car is very capable and once the brake kit goes on it should be even more so.
