As mentioned about the new Formula 1 turbo engines. You don't have an accelerator pedal nowadays. Just a Torque Pedal.

Torque on or Torque off! Mental amount of torque in your graphs Hurdy! :happy2:

Most recent run in the car. Level surface and then uphill from 60mph. :driver:

F@ckinghell John...that's mega quick...why do u time it to 80mph & not 100mph?
Bloody can't wait to do mine

Have to keep something to myself Dan.

Seriously though the one or two places I can safely do these runs are "off piste" and very limited in length. 0-100 is around 7.5.

The torque curve isnt even a curve its just a 'level'  :signLOL:

That is the boost controller management. fine tuning should make it even more level and smooth out the small "waves". The waves indicate the sensitivity of the controller is either a little too high or a little too low. The slight drop can be rectified in the E-Boost 2 by entering a percentage configuration between one rev setpoint and the redline.

Interesting! We are running our R's at 1.5Bar Boost on the GT28 Turbo Kit with ancillary mods and making around 331Kw and 550Nm.

They tend to run a 12.1 on pump fuel with this setup and low 11's on Race Fuel on the 1/4 mile so its really nice to get a chance to compare to an overseas vehicle like yours. Our record so far is a 11.6 on a stock Turbo on the 1/4 in an R on Race Fuel.

Keep up the great work John! Your car is very inspiring.  :congrats:

Mine is slowly being dialled up and should be knocking close to the tens. Fapping quick. Still haven't even tried race fuel or the race map yet! Then again I don't think it needs it!!!  :driver:

I had looked at the Autometrix day, but it is when I'm on my Hols. Club GTI are also doing Blyton Park, which is a great little track and I'm quite tempted. 1/2 day open pit lane and then timed competition runs in the afternoon. Brakes should be on in the next week or two, so I'll be all set after that.  :happy2:

For those of us who committed facebook suicide, please post the same pics up here.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
