Two swift gear changes to get to sixty mph and no launch control in a manual would lose over a second, so a 5.0s possible, but I doubt many will get that.
Well if we discount any traction issues, with a manual R, the only difference post launch would be gearchanges, so if your lovely R will do 3.5, two half second changes would burst 5 second bracket I'd say, as a guess.
That said the previously posted vid of two Japanese drifters changing gear (trying to match DSG times) and slamming home very swift changes was probably better than 0.5 secs/change.
This either sounds like a challenge for EVO mag, or 5th gear. Anyone know Tiff's number?
Of course my thoughts could be a load of old bullocks, as they say down the farm..
BTW Black badges look cool, anyone ordered any Mk 5 versions yet? (if they do them..)
