HGPs R has a R32/R36 twin turbo conversion doesn't it??

I think he was referring to the one featured in a lot of these vids..

Definitely not a 3.6 in that.. 2.0 TFSI with big blower..

^ That's it Ben! Thanks  :happy2:

Got a bit lost amidst the posts after but yeah it certainly doesn't sound like a 6 cylinder
The stuff it can hold it's own against is impressive. I think it's only the Murcielago that actually gains lengths on it.

I saw it and then remembered this thread and Hurdy's project and got thinking...

I have always dreamed about owning an Evo 8/9 with 400bhp, but many things have put me off, insurance costs, servicing costs, general maintaince costs, depreciation etc.

A tuned Golf R seems like a much better prospect, the handling and grip might not be right up there with the Evo, but for road use I'm sure a tuned Golf R would give you 95% of the thrills for a lot less money. Of course a Golf R at the moment is twice the money, when they do drop to the £15k-£17k mark I would be very tempted.

Although saying that, I would prefer an S-Tronic Facelift Audi S3

Anyway, great work Hurdy, I'm enjoying watching the progress of this car as are many other members  :happy2:

Any ETA from Milltek for the zorst John?

Can't wait to see what figures the car will run at Pod when full Revo Stage 2+ spec.. Be interesting to see how it will compare to the results produced by APR's Golf and whether or not there will be this gap in performance that everyone bangs on about..

I was told a few weeks back that it would be a month before they were back in stock. Hopefully this means the exhaust will be on before GTI Festival on the 14th and I will then be stage 2+.

Could possibly have the wmi on too and do runs with and without it - weather permitting.
