I do that every day in the R now

Really though when I'm data logging I don't use a hard launch, only when performance logging. I've probably used full Launch control 30-40 times and it has always been gooooooooood.
The Polo had a hard time on launches, but as it set off from idle revs  and spun the wheels I never really thought of it as an issue.

Not sure if this has been asked before in these pages.

But I see Quaife have recently released a ATB diff for the Golf R.
What benefit would that give if fitted to a 4WD Haldex car, as I'm presuming it would be a front axle fitment, but happy to be corrected on that.

I guess it could turn the car into a WRC car for mixed surfaces, but I could be typing a load of cobblers on that..so wondered what people know on this.

It gives similar benefits as a fwd car. It will move the power to the wheel with the most grip before the electronics start shuffling power and cutting power by braking the wheels with least grip.

So in theory would that help you more in the corners or in straight line launches too John?
And is that front axle fitment then?

Of course not suggesting you need another Quaife but was curious how ATB diff could help a 4WD Haldex car. Unless you need to be chasing Jari Matti Latvala etc.
