AXX BWA BYD BHZ CDL etc... if you don't know it it'll be the first 3 letters of your engine number (can find it in your log book)  :happy2:

Cheers Luke!

The R's use the new CDLA code engines...and I have an inkling they're bit more pokier than the old ED30/S3 engines!

But then Jussa has a 2010 S3 should have this engine really forgot mine is a 2010 car too  :signLOL:

Will post this info up when get home this evening  :happy2:

John sorry for hijacking your thread on this  :ashamed:
It's a CDL engine code whatever that means  :fighting2:

John, got the car booked in for the 30th for a full health check.
What are your Revo settings?
TC Garage are saying that my settings (set in summer) may be too conservative, so will give me a winter map if they can't find a boost leak  :chicken:

WTF - very different to my B9T4F7  :scared:

All revo settings are different car to car. T7 on hurdys does sound high, I thought anything above 6 was race fuel only (or wmi).

Yes, that was one of the last runs I didn't get on the Pod printout. Aaron's (Fozzy's) car was performing well that day. His best run of the day put him third on the 1.4TSI leaderboard.

Yeah, he has the updated stage 2+ software.  If that can allow me a timing of 7 I'm well up for it

The setting 7 on timing on the new map has more flexibility and safety built into it. I do have to ensure nothing below 98 ron goes in the tank though.  :happy2:

Don't forget that you cannot compare cars running the newer revised K04 code compared to the older code. The baselines for the settings used are different and cannot be compared directly.

Interesting, and I have a THS intercooler as well
So the new code is less aggressive but allows more timing and will seem smoother??  :popcornsoda:

Yup. I can quite happily run with timing at 7 now the weather is a little cooler (I also have the THS) = pulling very low, if any CF's
