All revo settings are different car to car. T7 on hurdys does sound high, I thought anything above 6 was race fuel only (or wmi).
Don't forget that you cannot compare cars running the newer revised K04 code compared to the older code. The baselines for the settings used are different and cannot be compared directly.

Interesting, and I have a THS intercooler as well
So the new code is less aggressive but allows more timing and will seem smoother??  :popcornsoda:

Yup. I can quite happily run with timing at 7 now the weather is a little cooler (I also have the THS) = pulling very low, if any CF's

What are u driving Dom?

With 40-50lbft missing too!

40-50lbft will have a massive effect on in gear acceleration no doubt, but how much difference do you think this will make on the 1/4 mile and the final terminals though?

As i said in the other thread, if the torque is being cut by the DSG, it will no doubt be limited when it would normally be peaking so between 3000-4500rpm before the torque drops sufficiently not to be effected by the DSG limiters.

So maybe during the initial part of the launch, id imagine that 50lbft could effect it a little(although 4.1 seconds is hardly slow  :scared:), but once you redlining in every gear, surely when it moves up a cog and the revs drop, the rpm would be above where the torque would be suffering torque limitation.

Have you got a graph?   What is your torque being limited to?
