Looking good john. Go for the top mounts pal, 2 reasons  1 they are a lot better no engine movement which in turn improves traction, 2 if you dont, trust me the top 2 mounts will go on you being a weaker link to the stiffer mounts. :happy2:

I'm definitely doing the top mounts Shaun, I just need to decide whether to do BSH, THS or VF mounts.

Vibratechnics?  I swapped my full set of THS mounts for them and they are a massive improvement.  Poly mounts are rock hard in winter and soft in summer.

Cheers for that Alex, I'll have a look at those too.

I will pm you a price for the upper two when I get into work.  They have some good pics on their site.  Iirc the THS and vibratechnics mounts are the only two that still hold the carbon canister on all three of its mounting points.

^^^^
Vibratechnics (the ones VWR use and fitted to mine) have given me no problems at all - A gentle buzz vibration felt only through the steering wheel and when first fitted and on cold startups only, but all that has settled down. QD complained that his THS mounts were uncomfortable and got rid of them, IIRC, but he does have 'war wounds'.

Apart from the obvious benefits, mounts transfer some great sounds from the engine bay....  Grrrrrrrrrrrrr !!  :happy2:

Don't bother with 'scene approved' stance - get it corner weighted to the right height. You've paid all that money for fancy suspension, you need to have it optimised  :happy2:

Oh, and it looks lovely.

....I couldn't agree more! John already has the experience of having had Bilstein coilovers on his Ed30 but once the setup is right, the car is on the sweet-spot and a joy to drive.

Not that the adjustable front drop links are on then it can be corner weighted properly.  You will need rear adjustable links to do it right too.

Next up, I need to make a decision on the make & colour of the brakes!

I'm torn between rising blue, Lamborghini orange, subtle silver or traditional red?

Any ideas?
