Hey Hurdy
It would be a pleasure to develop a pipe for your Golf R - for what it's worth the system is a hybrid utilising the Audi S3 front and the R32 rear exhaust.
I feel a 'Powervalve' coming on
Cheers

The APR one sounds great, the scorpion sounds good too and their workmanship quality is better than millteks imo and its cheaper. Then theres BCS, again cheaper than milltek also.

Typically scorpion and bcs seem to let you customise the system to your choice. I think scorpion are also considereing a Ti version

AKS just fitted a Scorpion to my friends RS4 B5. Sounds very nice and Alex said it was well built.

Nige / BCS is a relative newcomer (but with Blueflame past experience) and active forumite - If not Milltek, I say give BCS the opportunity. They have had nothing but good reports so far.

It's quite funny watching the exhaust grow through that video!

Congratulations John.  :happy2: I know your sudden illness mad you change your perspective on life, but us humans always revert to type. Glad to see you back.  :drinking:

Don't get milltek, the APR demo car had that system, sound doesn't do the car justice  :scared:

Hmm, any suggestions?

Pov What exhaust is the APR, R running now because at Castle Coombe it sounded horrendous on WOT.  you could hardly call it an engine note, just a wall of sound like slashing metal.

i think it could be the apr rsc to be honest, i just heard it on you tube on the golf R and it sounds nothing like the fire gurgling monster on the edition 30 i heard in the flesh ( think it was corilbras old car )
I hope apr havent changed the design of their systems ! either that or its just the r system that sounds wierd as fook !

All this exhaust talk is making me feel like a kid in a sweet shop

I have a couple ideas and leads now that are the leading potentials, but I'll keep them a surprise ....for now. :innocent:

What about intakes?

I know from previous experience that the Evoms makes good power, as do the ITG and Forge Twintake systems.

Anything new out there?
