Lovely car. :happy2:  What Revo BTF settings did you settle on?  Quick photo of my gloss black badge:

Adjusted a little today at B7T6F6

Just to help the Evoms intake a little. So, the Evoms is now on. Not quite as noisy as I remember, but as only the map AMD the intake are on there's not a lot to push it yet.
Golf R gone.

Forgot to mention Trev, the R is looking sweet and the black badge is definitely a gooooood idea. :happy2:

Never ever de-badge though! It's sacrilege on a VeeDub and says you're a chav. IMO.

Good job it's only your opinion Robin.

Stickers and quad exhausts, spring to mind for a better description of the word.

Black badges to match the Black Talledaga's John!   :innocent:

Already thinking about a colour change on the wheels to gloss black.

Is this stage one?  What settings are you running the map at? I'm stage 1 on the Ed35 and we had to play around with the setting to stop the lag after gear change. And like has been said its a later dsg in this car. Am I right in thinking there is something different with the engine too, when compared to the ED30- can run more boost??? Or something? Im sure Wigit said something about this.

The spec sheet for Wigit's car at the VW Festival Malvern stated Revo Stage 1 330bhp  :surprised:

John, have you replied to the PM on CGTI? One of the spare places is yours if you want it.

Yep, currently I'm stage 1 and now with an Evoms Intake.

I know it is basically the same engine as the ED30, but don't know exactly what revisions have been made apart from the .:R has the S3 intercooler and a revised PCV system.

Interesting to see you're on T6 John! Kev said mine didn't go as well on that but then he was setting the car up on a hot day!

This is the hot 'car of the moment' car thread on here isn't it.
Must admit I catch up with it each night, especially now the new baby is here and getting modded.

Feel a bit sorry for other cars listed in 'members rides', but then again this is gonna be the one to watch 'it go'.
And I guess those of us without an R are watching in awe.

Enjoy the ride.

Anybody looked into Ohlins for the Mk5/6. Thought they did a kit?

I know a man who knows a man who I think knows a man

Dave, they do make the coiloverdampers but you have to buy the springs seperately, also they are not TÜV approved, which is the reason for me not chosing them over the Bilstein PSS10 B16.
But they are an excellent bit of kit the öhlins

Over the top mod list ;o)

Was that on awesomes rollers?

I doubt it for stage 1.

Revo say 300bhp on an ED30 but I doubt that too.
