It's great to have you back on the 2,0 TFSI platform. Looking forward to see what you can make of the LO4XX with this weapon  :happy2:

Me too Jake. The L04XX will probably need upgrade clutchpacks with 4WD

I mind a time on this forum when giac was bad word. Time changes for the better.
Good work John.

I remember that time too, but GIAC have been consistently getting good results and that is why they got my money :happy2:

The engine is really strong and smooth, the DSG map really works well in conjunction with the engine map and is really eager to rev out at the top end - not a hint of pull or power dip anywhere in the rev range. I need to get it on some rollers :happy2:
Golf R gone.

Stage 3 DSG map?  what does that entail over stage 1 & 2?

Did i see REVO HQ have a Golf R with LO4xx turbo as a development car now?

Stage 3 allows the customer to select their own custom settings....

rpms for launch
Manual kickdown lockout and a choice of locking out the upshift or not
Max rpms for each mode (D,S,M)
Custom shift points.

I'm sure there is more too. :happy2:

Did some logs this morning and the peak MAF reading on the new GIAC stage 2 map was 293g/s, the MAF reading on the GIAC hammer map was 265g/s, which made 347bhp on the dyno.

I can imagine Hurdy pouring away bottles of milk down the kitchen sink so he can persuade his wife he needs to nip to the shop to buy some more, just so he can go out and try a few more VBOX shootouts  :driver:

Steve Jr has the VBox for testing with his Modified Porsche 997 Twin-Turbo.

Next step for me is a dyno on Monday.
