The car went in today for a few part upgrades and for some diagnostics on a poor running issue.

Finally had the Intercooler Uprated to a Eurojet FMIC. Good bit of kit.

Also upgraded from the Autotech HPFP. Again a great piece of kit and IMHO the best HPFP on the market.

Also added a Revo PCV fix, this was more to eliminate a possible running issue.

Craig at Statllers spent a long time diagnosing the running issue and Steve even fully downloaded the GIAC map again (which wasnt the issue) but finally nailed it and the car is now back as it should be. :jumpmove:

Golf R gone.

I moved to a Loba HPFP. I've seen both the APR and the Loba and the specs of the Loba are as good as if not better than the Apr HPFP.  :happy2:

What gets me is that both fuel pumps flow enough for stage 4 setups and more.  So irrelevant of specs, both perform more than you could need!!

So, with both having enough to power BT cars the deciding factor is price and Loba wins easily on that front too.

Thats the only deciding factor IMO between the two.  I also would go LOBA for that same reason.

It wasn't something that you'd expect and certainly nothing that anyone would normally come across. For that reason I'll not declare openly what went wrong, but the company in question need to give me an answer as to what they are going to do about it for me. Depending on their response will influence whether I declare it on the forum or not.
