For me the LO4xx isnt worth the effort.  the LO380/400 or what ever it is now is the one I would go for.  I agree with John 400Hp is more than enough

With a custom map the L0400 has made 400+ bhp on pump fuel with no WMI. It does require RS4 injectors on the GIAC map although I'm fairly sure that with a custom map S3/Golf R injectors would do, the LPFP is not essential, but recommended.  :happy2:

Saying that the vast majority of cars posted on the LOBA FB page running the LO400 that have made 395-405Hp seem to have WMI.

I guess as normal it is all about the tune and support hardware that makes the power. It is just striking the right balance.

Have a look at te LOBA FB page.  There must be about 7-10 posts over the last few months of GIAC LO400 setups with dyno graphs to have a look at.

Hurdy how come you're going for the Loba turbo over the same turbo APR use? GTX I think? Aren't they hitting 500bhp with standard internals?

Never really sold on APR products. Personal preference I guess. the GTX2867R is a good turbo, but there are a lot of good turbos out there that offer different things. It is all about what the individual wants from their car that determines the turbo and that is how it should be.

Almost forgot.....it is also vitally about the car owners confidence in the people and tuning companies they use. I trust my tuner and the people they use in turn for hardware and software. :happy2:
