The 2.0tfsi turbo kit is 6k

Its now 7.5k on the latest price list retail as a base kit. So from a stock car you basically need all the stage 2+ stuff already.

Theres a sale on at the moment so its £6807.24

But still, its:

Base stage 3 Kit (£6807.24) + HPFP (£600) + TBE (£1100) + Intake (£380) + Intercooler (£600) = £9487 (£10243 out of sale) SO its still £10k for 430hp

Is that price for the APR Stage 3 kit or Loba kit?
Unfortunately I've only on stage 1!
I've just shelled out and fitted KW Clubsports and a WALK kit with AP's coming from Daveb in Sept
Having costed stage 3 from APR using the GTX 2wd won't cope and it's too much for track work.
Going stage 2 + will suffice until I change the car in the future.
The total outlay going stage 3 and everything else would get me an R8.!
Pearl Black Edition 30 3 Door. DSG. (3rd Edition 30)
Maybe on the too do list: APR Stage 2+, KW Clubsports, Brakes, Diff.

Thats the APR kit which includes software.  If your already APR you can remove the full the software price iirc s that would be a £500 saving.

With the LO400 its just Turbo/Injectors afaik

so LOBA LO400 (£1700) + Injectors (£300)+ HPFP (£600) + TBE (£1100) + Intake (£380) + Intercooler (£600) = £4680 + software (£500) = £5180 for approx 400Hp

or

LOBA LO4xx (£2830) + Injectors (£300)+ HPFP (£600) + TBE (£1100) + Intake (£380) + Intercooler (£600) = £5810 + software (£500) = £6310 for approx 430Hp

No denying th LOBA has the VFM and bhp/£ areas well and truly covered

£500 is typical costs for REVO/APR etc.  Injector wise i pulled that figure out of my ass lol, a set of eight is £450 though http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/151066033693?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&_lwgsi=y&cbt=y&lpid=63&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=63&ff19=0

Does the Loba need a low fuel pressure tank upgrade?

Stage 2 plus is what 600 map + 1100 tbe + 600 intercooler + 600 fuel pump + 380 intake = 2480 pounds for a true 340hp

The LO400 doesnt, but the 4xx might do.  Danish has had to fit one to his car iirc.  Either way you can buy one from the change left over from the £300-4000 saving lol.

genuinely surprised by the difference.  Expected the GT28 to be a match tfor the Lo4xx especially with the flowed head etc.  Didnt think hurdy's would have matched it.  Granted his DSG will have helped out but its not a miracle gearbox, its not going to cancel out 50-80hp

Well, I'm back from a thoroughly enjoyable day. Achieved what I hoped for with a 16.39 30-130 run and a top speed of 162.99mph.

Steve Jr's ED30 was epically fast over the 30-130 at 12.35 and a good top speed of 171.19mph.

The weather was excellent apart from what we were told was a 30mph head and crosswind?! Probably knocked a few mph of the top speed runs.

Corner waited the car at 1487kg without me in it and a third of a tank of fuel.

Very good mate, considering I only hit around 160 with a 2 mile straight starting at around 70/80 not 30, so very impressive for the LO400  :happy2:

To do this conversion right though do you not need -

LO400, RS4 Injectors, TTRS LPFP, 3" Forge/VF Engineering MAF housing, GIAC map and E Boost controller. So that is a fair old outlay, not as bad if you are already with GIAC and still better value than APR
Diamond Black Pearl Edition 30, still going strong but now back to Stg 1
